A Body of Work, Working It Out
300 and Counting! When I embarked on this journey, started my very first blog (one and only, so far) on your behalf, to support your well-being through this indeterminable time period that was declared a global pandemic by WHO else? almost two years ago now (3-11-20), with the intent on posting on a range of subjects as well as a mixture of seriousness and light-hearted flights of fancy, sometimes even within the same post. But I did not anticipate that a) I would still be adding to this blog early in 2022, with yet another mutant in our midst, nor b) I would be exceeding 300 posts! (frankly, I kinda lost count but "Blogger.com" does it for me -- nice of y'all, thanks very much!). Finally, I did not know what kind of readership to expect (otherwise known as "followers" in blog speak), and remain grateful there are still so many out there who visit this blog frequency, if not frequently. I appreciate you as well! In an earlier time, when I started another journey, my advanced education, another post (as in post-high school, college) I did not anticipate ever going to "grad school", let alone complete a dissertation required in order to put the letters Ph.D. after my name, at least professionally. Representing a body of work, signifying more of an act of persistence and endurance than an impressive body of knowledge, the latter of which I am still acquiring by listening and speaking to all of you. Yes, my degree and 300 posts here do represent a body of work, which you, yourselves have in one form or another. As well as in...
Working It Out: As in your very own body, which is something I have encouraged you to do on many posts here, and hopefully have, by now, convinced you of the value added for doing so, stamina X3 (physical, mental, even emotional), and, following the last mini-series on the serious matter of PLAY! convinced you it can even be fun, does not have to be drudgery (which can easily lead to noncompliance and burning out). Certainly making a resolution to play more this year doesn't sound like work, does it? And another form of "It" has to do with US as a body, whether we are trying to better relationships at home or abroad. I hope several posts have messages and strategies to assist in this important endeavor forward. Finally, I hope that some previous posts and those yet to come will give you the belief that even after you've had a "Hard Day's Night", "We Can Work It Out"🎶. One way or the other. Talk to you again soon.
