Wake up, call: B4 the Co-mute...

Just a bit...or "I'll be there in..." A piece of unfinished business, I realized, B4 I almost wrote the entire instructions, what's now referred to as a "tutorial" if you have the lux of watching on You-tube, whereas it probably takes the form of an I-pod, cast as you begin, restart the co-mute...back to the office. Which you may also require directions, depending on all the road projects, that take the form of "infrastructure investment" when you view your tax state-meant. Many of which, in our particular, "precedent setting" state budget are a bit difficult to discern take apart, piece by piece, as "add-ons" -- especially since our particular group of "in-house" (within our state) who vowed to stay transparent, refused to vote in a bill that would reflect the signatures of those wishing to always add, never subtract, despite the fact we here have a balanced budget requirement -- which adds up to, if I did my basic math right, a harbinger of some "tax reform" bills. Back to the business at hand. I realized that, even if you have a remote starter, there is a simple part of your muscle memory, assuming you have been called back to the office, has probably gotten a bit, out of sync, since being told to "work from home"...

"It's your call" Whether you actually get out of bed, to do a few things you do naturally, almost in auto-pilot mode ("nature calls!") or start, right from the "get go" checking, making, returning calls (well, at least texts, emails, given the time of day and "Days of our Lives") while still in bed, prior to fully, formally returning to our places of work (for many it will remain, to be seen, by some who look beyond the zoom frame-up, that it's the same room in which you doze). Regardless of which category you reside in, prior to actually arriving, you have already realized...it's not only that time, to get up and get ready, to put on your (game) face...and in turn, to...

Face, the music  (note the use of commas in the title, subtitle, for effect -- kind of makes you pause -- clever, if you ask me...) Or musical faces, the ones that even the most casual of glances others, in the next vehicle, are making, mimicking, even while belting out tunes...while others seem to be talking to them-selves, since no one is there to accompany them or listen. All this, while we are doing our very best to comply with the "undistracted driving" laws that may have very well gone into effect, while you were sound asleep...before the make up call, back to reality. But way after you were already taught to do so in what we simply called "driver's ed" -- which for me, came to include "turn down the radio kids, I can't see straight!" when accompanied by teens. When we had already learned how to 'co-mute'...Regardless of who you are keeping company with, which brand of auto you have gravitated to (the adds for which catered to "power!" for us "boomers!" but now primarily talk all about tech, or "all about that bass..." with the Neuvo-boomers)...we can all agree, simply...

Hands down: as in easily, decisively...without much thought...we will all have to practice a bit of "hands free" communication, whether co-muting or even while zooming along, trying to feign that you are listening in, meanwhile engaging in yet another convo with your thumbs...This follows all the signs and signals, reminders to put and keep your "lap belt" on, all those annoying "click it or ticket" ads we heard until this, too became second nature, part of our muscle memory. And, just in case, there are all those bells and whistles to remind us, which are now built in -- the cost of which gets passed on to us as "add-ons"...And, if you "fail to comply" you'll supposedly be shown the courtesy of one reminder, after which you will have to "pay the piper"...which us boomers already knew meant...

"Face the music!"

Almost time, to get ready...
