Picture Dazed, from (pre)cradle...

"Just wave, and then crack, a smile..." A byte of a change of direction (see "Penguins of Madagascar”, the ones  featured in 9-15-24 post) as in making sure your hair (easier these daze for me, given how few...) is just..."so"...

Coiffed and doffed: Fancy schmancy, high falutin' paparazzi pretentiousness. Translated for us newbies: "fix your hair, tip your hat..."

Striking...a pose: As in perfectly poised, whether it be trying to capture the earliest of moments, trying to arrange the ("Delivery Room") "just so"...which one would think would come naturally, given the earlier shots captured via ultrasound..."we're all ready Gopros...we've got this...aww crap, he's got cradle cap!" Speaking of...

Cap-tive moments: When we, the ones that are the "so" called subjects are subject to being re-arranged, from our hair to where they want us to stand...

It's what's showing: Everywhere, all the time, what people are putting up with in their posts, what we are all as subjects of the collection of fotos are putting up with...even these daze featured on bumper snickers..."ask me about my grandchildren, and I'll show you..." Yep, from beginning to end...early and often...and so early in the school year, what our parents (but perhaps not the ones prior, given the limits on flash bulb...photography, how long each one took to set up...) prepped to pay for...set aside a few dollars in an envelope...

Up-dated: As in "putting the finishing touches..." before you can get the so-called final product, which all the "interested parties" (your extended fam fans) have been (at least you think...hope so) anxiously awaiting...from, starting with your "Preschool Graduation...it's about time!😊😢"

Following and followers: Both of which, of course, have become popularized, by our personal paparazzi, captured by tens, of thousands, of...both individual and group photo ops...

Home-coming: Now, from the moment that someone poses to pose the question, sometimes orchestrated by their conspiring friends and comrades (aka choreographers)...and on to the place where your "friend group" (another updated term, which is curious, given that many in the picture can't even be recalled...) gather, the arrangement by parents and others of which can make you late to the dinner reservation they made (paid) for you...and followed in kind, by the final few fotos that make it...home (after your children pressed "delete" to stay off grounding)...The build-up...to the new, improved...

"Senior pics!" Which are frequently, due to all the "rigmarole" (that's what the previous gens referred to as "lengthy and complicated procedures" but now considered "best photo practice")...Now, given the "all inclusive" nature of the numbers of outfits, outfitters, outposts you pose at, like the "Senior Trip" can be paid through in...stall...ments...As in the question many payors ask..."Isn't this a bit pre-mature, they haven't even gotten their first semester grades...?"

"So...???" Where do I stand? As in getting ready, for the next..."Engagement" (another milestone moment which has now, partly due to how few seem to be going to the altar) eclipsing and supplementing the income of the more familiar "Wedding Photographer"

Don't omit, the Obit: Last, but not certainly least...at least in terms of the photo ops, one last time. It used to be in the old daze, when people grew really old, deemed "decrepit😠" or at least, once again, "camera shy" ("get that #@&%&*# thing away from my %^&$# face!") people who were so-called 'close' to you started (little do you know) one, maybe two pics to feature in the eventual article looking back, on your life -- the one photograph you want people to remember you "bye". In sharp contrast to the HUGE layout of photographs, close or immediate next to the one being so-called laid out, or otherwise contained in a container of choice. Arranged in such a way to almost force the ones "paying respects" to come closer...which is why, so many loved ones make "funeral arrangements" ahead of time...
