Wholly Hype-acracy! MLB "kick-off"

Buying in...by selling out

Welcome to the (International Premium Channel) pastime

Say so long… to commercial TV: and hell-o! to longer commercials...(the length of which allows for occasional glimpses of the game itself)

Sea-Span: The new bball channel, exclusively for the two games each year that are devoted to bringing you the oldest version of what we grew up to know and love..."pick up baseball...get anyone we could find in our neighborhood, choose up sides and play..." Rules that were fluid, that changed as the game, itself, evolved (e.g. "right field out of play, given that we were, in a matter of speaking...short") Whereas here, in mid-March we now find ourselves stretching, to find enough players, and some infielders (read "investors") that we had to go overseas...

London Bridge: Which was the first experiment of this type, giving two Never For Long (as in 3.5 years, the career length of the average NFL player, Tom Brady aside) teams the chance for some descent exposure, as in going out on the "pitch" (usually reserved for Euro futbol that we know as "soccer") not to be confused with having the privilege of throwing out the first pitch 😕what's...exposing the crude crowds over there to what's called the "forward pass" which is cause overseas for a yellow card, a "hand ball"...😠!

Unfair Add-vantage: Two extra games that are played well...ahead of the normal schedule. This, in order to allow sufficient (jet lag) time...It continues to be a matter of animated debate by TV anal-ists, whether going west or east constitutes the most endurance. Another matter to be taken up by what's called the "off season" conversation...

Major League, Bye...out. Strictly speaking, getting a "bye" is a byproduct of success...whereas a buyout is more of a contractual arrangement involving courts, along with their rackets ("allegedly" tennis is the one that is most prone to "throwing a game"😟.
