Proud control and Hall-marks of achievement - that time of year, once again...
It’s in the cards…both those few left in the stores and, more often, the online one-liners…
“A proud moment…”
Accompanying handwritten commentary to provide what’s still called a contextual framework…as in social, cultural, and environmental factors, that may have played a part…
“You’ve managed to forge friendships, establish a trust fund, and crossed over the cultural divide to establish new ties for your family…”
As in learning to cross the street, at the corner, come back when you are called. What’s sometimes referred to as hitting the age level milestones, and in turn (forget about waiting for yours, a lesson in courtesy which comes along later) earning the credits to graduate…from preschool😆! Yep, we are increasingly lowering the age, a child qualifies as a sage…
"I’m not saying"…that praise is poor. Just that you might want to, instead of a heaping helping, give it to them in bits and pieces, give them time…to digest - wouldn't want Tommy to get a tummy ache, right? 😟
About those presence...better get a lot of rest, if you're going to be expected to be present at every little milestone achieved...
"About those hall-marks...after the party's over Tommy, you're going to help me remove them, from your toy trucks, careening out of control..." 😁😠
