Need I say more, to get your attention regarding this risky, critical business of "Risk Management"? A topic of HUGE proportions I've written about several times here, but usually indirectly or subsumed under the topic of "Anxiety", etc. I know I included references to the critically important, highly interesting fields of Risk Management and Safety Management which, based on recent events, not only seem to offer job security but once again those that help to ensure OUR future. The foregoing are a deliberate attempt to weave this process into recent, ongoing events of both a national and international importance, those that we can all relate to on a personal level in one instance or another mentioned, as well as some events pending (2022 Beijing Olympics, among others), that we can and should be preparing for, to manage our individual and collective risks. After all, as history and this blog has hopefully illustrated, whether we are acutely aware or not, this is a process we all go through, each and every day, whether we welcome it or not. We may as well get better at it. More to come...as in:
Risk Averse, Diverse, in Reverse (?)
