End-Countering "Famous Last Words"  "I'm just sayin'..." 

May be "Not"! As in, maybe not famous; maybe not the last word(s); maybe more like "fast words", the ones that seem to just flow, and then the ones that almost just as reflexively follow, as in "countering".  And, as in "I'm just saying", did-you-notice, they-seem-to...

Come in Threes, These: "It's what's showing..." And even then, after further thought, they enter in...

One-by-One: Monosyllabic, that is. Powerful, impactful words, uttered by us, them, at (in)opportune times, in order to make a statement. For ease of illustration and full appreciation, I offer you some sample points and their counter-parts (some ID'd, others anon.; some sar-cas-tic, some not so...) Add your favs:

"I'm so done!" (mom) ------- "Want to bet?!" (child, US)

"Read my lips..." (Pres.) ------- "I'm tone deaf" (taxpayer)

"Make my day" ------- "???" (What you say?)

"Go on home" ------- "Babe, it's cold" (truncated)

"Let's do it" ------- "Not so fast" (more from "Dating Game")

"Mark my words" ------- "I've lost count"

"Keep it cool" ------- "I'm so hot!" (narcissist) 

"It's lights out!" ------- "Bring it on" ("I dare ya'!") Can you hear "Rocky"?

"This will pass..." ------- "Pain, no gain!"  (Trainer and trainee)

"You're so late..." ------- "Worth the wait (?)" (narcissist on the rise)

"It's your fault!" ------- "Who, Me, what?!"

"Just once more" ------- "Not so much..."

"I'll be back..." ------- "Yeah, but when?!"

"Count on it" ------- "Now we're screwed!

"It's worth it" ------- "Not so much..."

"In da' house" ------- "Break me out!"

"So it seems..." ------- "Got no clue!" (military, misc. Ops)

"We there yet?" ------- "Not quite yet" (highly relatable, now and then)

"Let it go...𝅘𝅥𝅯" ------- "NO, NO, NO!" 

"From your lips..." ------- "Hear me, God?!"

And So On: and so forth; you might ask, what gave rise, to all this...?
