RE: ORG.Com
Re:lationally: As in we can all relate, to the times, situations in our lives, where either relationships themselves, our own homes, offices (often the same these days), need to be revisited, reorganized, re'engineered', reprioritized..."Time to get organized!" Whether the 'place' we are trying to better organize is a dwelling or where our minds tend to dwell ("I'm spending too much time alone with my own thoughts...ruminating😔😕😖")...Either reorganized after a period of acquisition or scurrying about, too busy to think, let alone organize your space, or organize for the very first time. Saw lots of physical evidence that many of you were doing so, kicking stuff to the curb, in response to the CDC's early directive (not to get rid of stuff, but stay home a while), as well as heard from you your re-thinking of various relationships, after not seeing some people for an extended period...some of which you decided you were "better off without...let's take them off our Christmas card list..." Others decided to, instead of "ridding ourselves of all this stuff we haven't used in years..." to stow away for a little longer, wait this thing out, and have a giant garage sale (starting to sound like one of my favorite George Carlin routines regarding "needing a bigger house so you can get more stuff"). Relationally, on the people side, some of you, as soon as you realized the lack of opportunities to see many friends and family, at least up close, started planning a blockbuster bash for when this CV thing finally blows out of town -- the evidence for which we are also seeing, given the explosion of grad parties, birthday extravaganzas, weddings, funerals...you name it; we are finding reasons once again to get together and celebrate...after a time during which, if not literally reorganizing your domicile, this time of "shut-downs" prompted you and me, to at least reflect, a reminder, to...
Re:Set: Something we all need to do from time-to-time, not just every six months in response to the time change (which became an area for the House of US, as in the U.S. House to re:set for US, starting next year, something I guess they had the time to reflect on during their own shut-down...). Always a good time to remind ourselves of what we have told ourselves, others, what is most important to us (people, places, things...), as in time with our family and friends, taking care of ourselves, the 'stuff' we make resolutions about...which after the pandemic calms, will find us pondering whether, while not celebrating the reasons for this call for distancing, became a strong reminder of our priorities, past, present, and those that will sustain us going forward, as individuals, OR, as in...
RE: Org: As in all about your organization, others, a time during which many of us found ourselves "Check out our website" Whereas others took the time to reorg their Org, redo their/your 'mission statement' about your 'brand' -- a period during which we became more aware of the what/how the period thing ITself was punctuating, attempting to gain our attention, worth a look: the difference between .Com (the most common, now primarily 'commercially'), .Gov (which seems to be the only place to get government affiliated info these days, and usually via a Robo, given the lack of personnel lately), .Edu (a HUGE increase in educational organizations and platforms, whether synchronously delivered or a bit 'out-of-sync') and, of course, .ORG -- all about You, Us...everything we need to know or want someone else to know about us in this allotted space and time...taking me right back to where I began this post (which reminds me of how I was prompted to reorg this blog some months back, in order to sustain your attention, if not approval)...always a good time, re:gardless (see 7/27) of the origin of the prompt, to...
Reorg: Whether states of mind, traveling in our own state ("Michigan.org: Pure Michigan"😎), between, out of country, or "out of this world!" (literally if you're keeping company with one of those billionaires that are hanging out up there, or in your own mind, imagination, if you've bought a lottery ticket for now a billion dollar jackpot🤞🤞)...always a good time and place to reorganize your 'stuff', to maximize, be a good steward of your precious re:sources (time, money, energy)...is it time to expend, or hold back a bit, as in...
Re:Serve: Next, at least soon...please come back, return here, perhaps even make this your home page.
