Re:solve, Re:salute: Continuing the course for the Cause, Stepping in the Right Direction...

Post Declaration, Celebration: After the smoke of the barbecues and fireworks has cleared, and the fog (in your head?) has lifted, you awaken to find "It's a new day!" With a new set of realities dawning on you, those aligned with the pronouncement, declaration you made just prior ("I said what?!"), the ones that were nicely accompanied by a lot of pomp, ceremonial circumstances, celebratory oratories, the heartiest of "Congrats!" Now it's time to see if you have what it really takes, as in the resolve to step up, to keep stepping, to see if you are truly ready for...

The Long Haul: Not always clear as to how long it would take, the sacrifices required, to get where you want, need, aspire to get to, your final destination. Nor is the path always clear, unobstructed, nor the waters calm for your passage. But we around here, are fortunate indeed to have had the foresight of the original signatories of our Declaration and the Constitution, to provide U.S. with a road map, followed by a legion of exemplars, which about "Four score and seven years later..." rededicated us to the original cause...and many, many times since, up to where we are now. The rest is up to us, You and Me. No time to stop; there's still a lot of work to do around here, as we continue, collectively salute "This great American experiment in democracy..."
