Getting in the Spirit, Technicality Speaking: DD 3.0 - Re: (Dis)-Approval, Appointments

Universal, Omni-presents: That gets US, all around the globe now, in the spirit of the Season,..."there's something about the book, movie (the latter endorsed by surveys as the one that ensures us getting there, in the Spirit, the quickest and bestest)..." (see November 20 post for more context, as well as pretext). Here, today, along with hundreds of thousands of other types of "Info-"mercials, I am offering you a sneak peek, before the sneak peek, before the...all this to get into the right mood, frame of mind (before we all "lose it!") , and the full-ness of the Spirit...of over-spending, eating, indulging...in the spirit(s). Here, in the Spirit of Full 'Dis'Closure, which will hope-fully for you bring closure to this whole "due diligence" subject, which I have been subjecting you to the last few days here, in an attempt to get you to see all sides to this, and prior to your consideration to what you think you have coming, due you this time of year, give-or-take, more-or-less, which side of Santa's list...in anticipation of the largesse, largest holidays of the year, which comes at least twice now...which in turn supports all US, consum-ers. Which, like everything else these days, seems to have both proponents and detractors (see last post once again), both do-ers, and nay-sayers ("Ba-humbuggers"). And yet another party, of those that, in retro-spection would like to have a "do-over". A legion of folks among US who can in turn be put into sub-groups -- those that identify with the revelers, the ones that would like to sustain this spirit of giving, charity, "good will toward..." and those, who would "just as soon forget it", put it into the rear view mirror, perhaps due to a technicality, which ended up in dis-appointment, not getting "quite what I wanted..." So, here in the full-ness of the Spirit, in the Spirit of...

Full Dis-closure, (Un)Appeal-ing: "You're almost finished, just about to wrap up...your pre-application process😟😠😢; all we need is a few pieces of additional information, some details, dating back to...and then, we can, upon further review, re-consider your application for re-fi, grant you, your loan...your re-appointment, grant you privileges, welcome you back, again, as part of our medical staff...grant you tenure in our great University (where it's "publish or perish"😟😞)...Not just this time of year, of course, but any time you come up for re-consideration, when you, yourself, are having "second thoughts", in moments of in-decision, which give rise to wanting a re-decision, second opinion, especially if you believe "it was un-called for" on a HUGE play in a HUGE game, deciding the outcome of the Season...the whole range of "instant re-plays", which actually put the game on a HUGE pause, which ostensibly offers technical assistance to the zebras on the field, but also ads to all sorts of consumer-ism...which has strong pro/opposition positions, "both sides of the ball"...Also comes, in the context of "higher ed" in the form of "footnotes" which offered us, who may have not exhausted "all due diligence" the opportunity to provide "ancillary pieces of information printed at the bottom of the page". In the courts, it could come in the form of an "appeal" of an un-appealing verdict...all due to a "technicality". Many instances of which, according to the dd proponents, the ones who tell us once again, "with plenty of advance notice" that we should all do "advance planning", especially this time of the year...that we may wish to re-consider our travel plans, or at least do our own...

Pre-fly, checklist: One which we count on pilots to do, of course. but airlines, nationally and globally, on behalf of those who will be traveling local as well as HUGE distances, encourage all to check, re-check, and check again...to make sure the flights are on time...prior to coming to the airport, so as not to cause you or a legion of others HUGE inconvenience...and, in the annual, perennial...

Spirit of Giving: "He's checking his list, checking it twice..." So...so should we, us givers, as well as takers...re-mind ourselves of the correct sizes, especially if you haven't seen their inseams for what is seems to be more than a year...as well as their respective ages, what may have "gone out of style...uncool, totally!"...Other-wise what could have been a great idea, Spirit of Giving, end up a HUGE dis-appointment, end up, these days as an object of re-gifting (humorous on "Seinfeld" but not so much if you're the one trying to pass it on)...And, of course, even in the advent of Amazon and the promise of almost instant delivery, we are encouraged by consumer groups to "allow plenty of time this time of year..." and otherwise to stay in good cheer -- speaking of...

Publicly Speaking, Speaking in Public: In the Spirit of good cheer, from the cheering section, "upon further review" can also be applied to those of us who have even willingly ventured into the universally feared (one of the top things even well-educated adults actively avoid) stage of public speaking. Among other types of re-hearsals, even the ones we have dressed up for (ergo, "dress rehearsal") we, as one outtake from a highly successful entrepreneur ill-Us-trates, after a HUGE-ly successful campaign to get people to donate on behalf of a "for purpose" (previously referred to as "non"-profit") cause, bringing education to people around the world who lacked any schools whatsoever (a purpose that even Justin Beeber got on board for early on)...after the HUGE applause had finally quelled, he was approached by his father, who along with plenty-full kudos, offered him the fatherly advice..."next time you might want to check your fly😟😂...don't worry son, nobody noticed as the spirit of your talk went over so well; just a technicality, for your further re-view..."
