Re: Read-iness, or Not, what this is all about (?) Us, re-spondents.

So...(?) Is that a question or a statement, and do I really have a choice in the matter? It's why I put the question, mark in ( ), to once again bring your and my own attention to this matter at hand, this whole issue of readiness, for such an event, occurrence, which we spend a lot of time prepping for, which itself becomes an event in and of itself, to the extent that we can get all 'wrapped up' in the process, and even miss what might be in our, midst. Then find ourselves, once again, be-wildered, "is that all there is, is it over, did I miss it???" Good questions, all and the ones that are worth pondering ahead of time, in order to be ready...

So, here we all are, where and when we find ourselves, at any time of year, place, set of circumstances in our respective and collective lives, where and when you are about to "Behold!" something spectacular! (redundancy for emphasis). Whether or not, you or me, come with "Great expectations!" It could also be a case where a lot is actually expected of you, me, where we are about to be re-cruited for a "Great cause" -- to spread "Good news" for example, in time a place where, after the masses are ostensibly begging, even "clamoring!" for some, they, themselves. might not be ready, and you, the messenger, the one who comes un-conditionally, under all conditions..."through rain, snow...gloom of night...come to deliver..." In order for us to re-spond, as re-sponders on either side of this scene, as those who are de-liverers, or those about to re-ceive such news...that you're about to "Behold!" or the ones that are trying to get others attention, what would you, yourself, need, "at a minimum" to be "willing and able" to fully co-operate, effectively participate? And how would you, upon coming upon such a "Spectacle", see such a scene, as a 'first responder', re-spond? Let's be honest: as for me, what I would need...

So, (it's how so many start answering questions in interviews these days, as if a pause is needed, indicated, a bit of equivocation...?) So, in any case, what I, myself, would need..."for starters" -- as in order to even conceive of such a thing...

Re-Assurance: And plenty of it! Give it to me and keep it coming! Given that I would need it, assurance plus reassuring, in order to even consider being part of such a "great cause", I assume you would too. Which in my Psych. world, we call "projection". Which is why I have written so many posts covering so many dimensions of readiness. And I guess why we get angels or other un-wordly messengers, who come to us un-conditionally, without too many pre-conditons...whether they come with stealth, whispering in our ears, so as to not startle...as well as all those who, perhaps accompanied by accompanists, instruments, "bells and whistles", or at least a "trumpet voluntary"...sometimes just played solo by say, an organist or trumpeter, and others a duet......And so, what if my pre-conditions are met, the message is effectively and fully delivered, and actually heard in the midst of all this cacophony? Another moment of mental clarity, honesty...as in...

"Without hesitation" As you were ready for the question, prepped ahead of time, by your "handlers"...As for me, "to be honest and transparent" (which these days is usually a signal the re-spondent is about to be other-wise, under dis-guise...)...my "go to" re-sponse, under such "mirky conditions", where a messenger has bothered to come to me, even with "good news!" any time of day or night, fought through in-clement conditions...my...

"Ready-Made, Re-sponse:" So, I guess, if you can't find someone else...In a pinch...pinch me, tell me I'm not dreaming😌😟😇...And, in re-turn, just like your parents, when you asked for a little more time...in slumber, to "finish my dream" from the ones who are trying to gain our attention, after sufficient advance notice, prompts...comes the counter-

"Ready-or-not, here I come!" response.
