Re: Action Items: Things to do, what's called for, as well as...super dupe-r stuff, prior planning...

When it's all on the (bottom) Line: But, before the "final countdown" and you are snug in your (hot?) seat (clue?), whether you relate more to the people, panelists on the hunt (e.g., on "What's My Line?" -- see the last few posts for a pre-view, to be among the fully informed), questioning the mystery person (or the person about the mysterious docs), or the one who is responding, a bit indirectly at best, obfuscating, gesticulating, in such a way that adds up to "obstructionistic!"๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜• -- there are certain-ly things you should consider doing well, and well ahead of time, in order to be fully prepared (if one can ever be) as well as those that should be, at all costs to minimize your exposure, including those that may lead to even a loss (CLUE) of composure...

DO/Engage: In deductive reasoning, especially when you are wagering, betting on the "over/under", the "final score"...the so-called bottom line (that this blogger keeps referring to as a clue, but I suspect may be to take me off the main hunt, what's referred to as a 'red herring' -- more like a 'blue whale' of a story, if you ask me...). Yep, it's all about analytics these days, whether you are evaluating a prospectus as a venture capitalist or venturing into something more personal, as in a "friendly wager, just between friends..." (what a conflict, in terms๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜ !)...and, in a bit of a contrast, at least in terms of...

DON'T, AVOID: Under-estimating, especially when it comes to being fully prepared, to be on time, how much effort it will take to get that job around the house done, before you can finally settle down, be ready for the crowd to arrive, the people you have counted, depended on, to show, as in "half again as much" (i.e., 1.5 X original estimate, see how analytics always at play? CLUE) And, of course, there's also a risk in over-estimating, buying too much, so that once that was good gets "tossed", "thrown out" (CLUES) or, more likely these days based on what's (not) showing..."put into storage" (bags...). And, while you are busy avoiding these risky business behaviors, go ahead, feel free to...

CAPITALIZE (Clue): Do take full advantage, when it's (un)called for, learn, benefit, and therefore gain the advantage, from others' miss-takes, miss-fortunes...it's all part of the game, you know. But, while doing so...

MINIMIZE COSTS: (OR) Risks, being pulled in by schemers๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜Ÿ, those who would otherwise try to get you to, before it's allowed, go into the so-called "neutral" zone...pull you offsides, get you to "encroach"...You know the situations we all face, the ones we were four-warned: "If it's too good to be true, watch out for false promises, those that are so lofty that...and one more not readily re-called...

DO do: as in prep, get stuff out, ready, well ahead of time, beat the anticipated crowd, to save time for when it really comes down to game time, when you can catch your breath...or, if you as the host over-extend yourself, and miss the start (these days referred as "real-time") you can just re-wind, as in DVR time...This, while watching others gorging on all that you have put before them, even those who have, several weeks ago, told themselves...

Don't, do watch out: For over-indulgence...as you may end up regretting it later on...when you will have to in turn start trimming, cutting back on lots of stuff you consumed in whatever form...so much for moderation when everything was offered in SUPER-sized portions...and also...

AVOID: Not only mis-steps (clue) but mis-pro-noun-cing names, being aware of all the rule changes regarding what's either too personal or, on the other hand, considered Im-personal, improper...these daze...Instead...

FEEL FREE: To call them out by number, as in "15 yards due to #11 being..." Which, in the future is likely to include the last four digits of some card or another on the jersey, which will simply add to the jumble of numbers and analytics, let alone the time delays...all of which could be avoided by replacing the scorecards with the much simpler "BINGO!" card system: "B-9 gives the ball off to...who ends up at O-68...too late!" A return to a simpler way to break down the gridiron, and call each other out...

Speaking of Squares: Have you purchased yours yet (plus some dabbers)? And what about those brackets, everyone will be talking about in a few weeks, never too soon (two clues here)?

Don't, be square: Return here next few days, for re:past and future, past-times...
