Re: Instatement: "My Word(s)!"

Annualized Re-turns: Yet another installment, the outcome of which is pretty well expected, even after the Super, build-up, all the buzz on social media, main-stream, and through the mouths of all the talking heads, and out of the "mouths of babes" (apparently thinking if they are attractive we'll hardly notice)  -- a re-visiting of the state of US, telling us how we are ostensibly doing, all-the-while we are likely feeling other-wise...Which many came to with "Great Expectations" who likely did not go home "empty handed" given all the promises of "hand-outs" and such...But here I will re-visit, the one from last evening which aired coast to coast on what's still called "prime time" as a speech which contains come clues of things yet to come (clue for you as well), "can you believe it?!" Which is one quote among many we grew to associate with various experience throughout our developmental, other-wise called "formative" years...which also included some other re-markable ones, those that were uttered by US, on occasion...

"My Word!" Simply a statement of surprise or low level amazement, usually in a relatively benign context, whereas those from our mothers and their mothers before them, and...lending a cautionary note, when prepping US for a time of (sibling) so-called 'conflict resolution' (like "I resolve to be in perpetual conflict")😉🤣😈fore-warned, or even after the fact, as an admonish-meant...prior to banishing us to our rooms..,.

"If YOU can't say anything nice..." Did his mother not share her wisdom with him, as we heard, witnessing him casting blame, "across the aisle"...And what about the sage, fatherly word of advice, issued from legions of dads across the land, throughout (our) ages...

"Are YOU listening...listen up!" Or, a slightly different iteration, with similar impact, "Do I have to repeat myself here...?!"😟😞😢"Do you finally get it, after all these years, tears...?!" "What's it gonna' take....huh?!!! "We taught you better than this!" And, of course as we grew, learned to "listen" better, we also heard plenty from other elders, in places of authority, many times (literally) looking down on us...

"Do YOU mind telling me that again?!" More a demand than a request, in a state-meant of dubioUS-ness, regarding our own veracity...Yep, lessons, quotes, re-MINDERS that may, allow US all, ahead of time, save a lot of grief on behalf of those around US and other-wise have us upon retro-specting...

"Did he really say that?!" Or, on our end, also have US, at least ME, EX-claiming, "does he actually believe what he, himself is saying...?!" Along with my...

"Few Choice Words" As in my own (ergo "My Words!") re-sponse to the so-called state of things, my own re-instatement...As in my commentary of the border being secure: in a word, "Porous" In the context of the rumors of an economic recovery being well under way: "Poor US" and, one we can all relate to, a universal statement on how we all felt while over hearing "Pour us one...pretty please..."
