BT(P)B! Welcome to Spring, and the rest of "March Madness" - Gonna' be a lumpy ride

Pre, post text: "Under the pretext" means doing something you say you are doing for one reason but it turns out to be otherwise, as in "pretense" or sometimes "ostensibly"...or, in earlier developmental times, "supposedly"...all of which raise a bit of doubt...as in "I'm a bit dubious"...some words and descriptors we're likely to hear as those who are ultimately responsible for all those funds, as in "billions and billions" previously, before these banking institutions went "bust" was strongly aligned with Carl Sagan, along with his signature voice and cadence, but now...in the near future will be infamously linked with some who also sent billions into another type of Black Hole than the one Mr. Sagan introduced us to in simplified terms...

Princess and the Pea: A story of a youngster with royal ancestry whose lineage is proven by a test of sensitivity (or what I re-learned via grad schooling in psychology as "hyper-sensitivity" or even "sensory defensive") - which can be off-putting for most of us, as we tend to avoid such situations, but in her case it re-proved her real worth...and return to the throne, of sorts. All this due to not being able to find contentment, in turn due to the smallest of lumps under a mattress which was under several others, but way short of the billions that folks may start once again stashing under theirs as the only safe place...

Miss Piggy, banks: Or, what Miss Piggy, the classiest of swines we came to know and love, usually featured alongside, vying for Kermit's attention ("Sesame Street"), would have commented on today's financial climate, one of her several signature quotes: "Many people think that money is something to set aside for a rainy day...but honestly, how much do you really need for a few dozen hours or so of inclement weather...?" Well the storm clouds associated with Spring have already been sprung on U.S. and when "all is said and done", after all the investigation, Congressional Committees overseeing (versus "overseas" here) what we all be left with, in a much more abbreviated, reduced form...a new text term, about yet another time and place from yesteryear that we were reassured our coins and even a few dollars we might fit through the provided coin slot...a place where we could go, only if we wanted  something "really, really"  (insert Sagan voice-over here) bad, or in a time of a "true emergency".

Breaking the (Piggy) Bank😟😢 - As we around here and the global banking system,,. from the FDIC to the IMF ("Impossible Missions Force"?) assure us the "system's not broken..." Billions and billions of US are watching.

BTW: "Bite the bullet" (or Btb!) refers to those situations you anticipate, where you have to "endure the inevitable" and rely on fortitude, among other internal "resources" (sounding eerily familiar?) - and literally to the older strategy of biting down on something really hard when prior to modern anesthesia. In futuristic times may be experienced as "look what I found under the mattress, in our now cash-less society; it's some round bits of nickel, copper, with teeth marks...some bit-coins"🤣!

All this even before April 1st, "All Fools Day", which may be the day we wake up and "they" tell us it was all a hoax.
