I'm here to clear...up something between us: the social climate, almost forgotten.

A constant re-minder: As in "how could I forget something so important?!" , after covering the earth, then cleansing your minds, the try-fecta of stuff to clear up, as in how we treat each other...being reminded again and again yesterday and this morning, almost a week after Earth Day, that the air is still thick with...

Pollutions and solutions: It's on You. As in the stuff you give out and what might, instead, land on you, as in rumors and gossip...collectively, in the jargon and spirit of "Earth Day" hopefully still instills...what can add up to "trash talk" --whether on the basketball court, in an actual Court "You're outa' line counselor, I'm about to throw the book at ya' if you step over the line one more time...hold you in..."

Contempt! You, US: An attitude and place we've all been, especially if you've visited here on occasion, particularly on 12-23-21 (Polarized Express) -- how we, after learning how to hug, hold those near and dear, say kind things to endear ourselves, soon learn how to hold others in contempt. Partially represented, of course, by how we on occasion, whether in jest, gestures of  "JK", semi friendly "affectations" ("nothing serious, didn't really mean it, all in fun...") or even an occasional "caustic" remark (meant to be witty, sarcastic, poke fun, especially if someone's being too "sanctimonious") - all of  which are likely to elicit a clever "come back" at you...different in intent and quality than...

Trading Insults:  Now under layers of protective cover, which have been shown by many social scientists to have been on the rise way before the last presidential election which, of course, was preceded by a debate featuring among other creative barbs, "Shut up man!" The "recall" of which will probably have US around here all seeking cover ourselves, tuning in, then out, with shouts all about...

Cover Up! Along with "Liar, fake, cheat...!" Accusations that will likely, once again, serve not our vocabularies, but eventuate in at least a local warming. But before you get turned off, or turn it off yourself, you might want to see if this election "cycle" features the three words suggested by none other than a Harvard business prof, as those YOU and I can also resort to when being insulted, "Are you okay?" delivered with a tone and body language that may leave THEM dazed and confused 😕🤣. As if you remain indifferent, unflappable...

"Get a thicker skin" Always good advice if about to head in to such a clime as this. But even if you are able to feign indifference, as a previous president remained cool, when pressed in press conferences -- so much so he was oft referred to as the "Teflon president" (RR: "I know they like me, they just find me disagreeable")...you may, when prepping to go out into even the sunnier days ahead, still put on a generous application of whatever brand of sun screen you prefer, as those who are concerned with watching temperatures around the globe announced that, due in part to our collective efforts to remove contaminants from the air, the sun is now shining bright and through, to the extent it's warming the waterways, as in the "world's ambient ocean temperature" ! Leaving you and I scratching our heads..."What on Earth?!" And, as if this was not enough...

"Making Matters Worse" As described in an article about "AI in politics" we may, if we are not turned off already, be treated to a barrage of insults and clever comebacks generated by an AI algorithm next debate...taking all the fun out of it...

"Come on man!"

"Whatever"
