"Your Days are numbered" Countdown...to Ex-tinction. 

What better way to start, introduce a post-royal post, after clearing our houses of Royals, a Royal flush of sorts. What better way, than a reminder of our own fall-ibility, replaceability, and how we are all Ex-spendable* And how, after a gradual rise we all will find ourselves in either a steep or, hopefully, more gradual, even graceful decline. Yep, just like that spanking new car you drive out of the dealership, your days starting adding up the day you were born. Yep, your days are numbered and there's (something) you can do about it. *Fore-shadowing...along with the "Word of the Day" from my friends, Merriam and Webster, brought to my mind, and now yours on 5/24/23 (adumbrate: "to foreshadow vaguely"). The root of it, being dumb.
