"I'm putting you on...notice" 

"I'll put it to you this way" As in "there's no easy way to say this, other than to come right out with it..." This, versus, being a bit in-direct, oblique...obtuse even...the kind of communications, memorandums you used to receive while doing business face-to-face, person-to-person...while doing business in the place of business...

"It's time, that can wait...time to get ready..." This is what I told my Selfie, as I looked in the mirror, rehearsing, prepping, writing in my head, a few posts related to some of the current events, stuff that's at least tangential, psychologically related to "what's going on around here...and there..." Stuff that I think it's other-wise worth your consideration...a...

"Look-see" Or, "I'm posting this note, post, where everyone can see it..." As well as with plenty of advanced waning (as in trying to pre-empt your decreasing interest, perhaps becoming a bit bored, if I have become a bit repeti-tious, predictable even)..."ho-hum"...

Tabling Contents: Having to defer a bit of interest -- my own that is, and other-wise gratify 'cation' -- a shortened version for the bigger trips many of us used to take prior to that whole "Co-Vid" period -- hadn't used that term here in a while, eh? and then due to the jump at the pump, followed by the whole recession jitters, at least the ones felt in most homes outside the so-called Washington Beltway, a curious term, given the minimal belt tightening that occurs in their House there, and finally in part due to so many being called back to the office, at least part time...Which has gotten my attention due to so many of you sharing so much of your individual and collective experiences with me...that instead of writing this post, this last day of June, about the following thoughts, reflections, themes, that have filled the airways and my head, I will just jot them down here as in a short 'post-it'...

"Cap and Gown!" So, why the frown? "Listen, I mean loosen up, dude!" 

"Among US" - They've always been and always will be, with US -- forces to be reckoned with...

"Your Youth-Full Dis Appearance" Where did they go? How do get them back...

"In Human Feets" The sports psychology of tomorrow, categorically speaking...label-us.

"Freudently" It's actually not always in the hands of the mother...but instead, on the other hand...

So as to not forget, after what could be a long delay, what many of us experienced when told..."You are going to work from home for a at least a short 'stint', at least part time, until we can this 'thing' under control...we need to space out a bit..." 

After which, many are now being told, or perhaps, like Jeopardy, in the form of a question..."Well? Come back" That's making an assumption that the majority have either had the 'thing', gotten vaxed, or at least gained immunity other-wise...enough of the so-called "work force" so-called "essential workers" were forced to work off site, but not off camera, given the rapid increase in "spy wear"...while a few left behind, sometimes referred to as a "skeletal crew" (perhaps 'cuz it was so dead around here) -- left to fend for ourselves, clean the restrooms, as the house-keepers we took for granted were no longer showing up...

Dedicated ones: the ones that showed up in or on (camera) no matter what the conditions, here or there...and OMG! reminding me at least on your behalf, while you no longer had to wait in long lines at the water cooler or for (primarily women's still, in 2023) rest-rooms, another 'thing' we took for granted, the even longer "dedicated line" --  "communications cable or other facility dedicated to a specific application...blah, blah, blah..." The Net result of which resulted in a long wait for a so-called "line man" who showed up at your doorstep, or was spotted creeping around in your back yard, searching for a 'hook-up'...talk about creepy...

Where and when we find our-Selves: as in having to defer what we really want do and instead dedicate ourselves with the matter at hand...So...

Note to Self: I will dedicate this post and a few to follow to all those experiencing the "call back" --longed for by aspiring thespians while a mixed review for the rest of us...
