Manu-mental Mistakes! Those left behind. "What, on earth?!"

Un-earthed: As in no stone left unturned, clue left un-opened...in order for the future no$$$$! Generation to un-ravel this puzzling, updated version of the "riddle of the sphinx" -- one that has had far reaching and deeply felt "negative vibes" (as They used to call them, according to the note found in the time capsule)...clues Thy may have left behind about "why in the world#$%@!" They could have been so clue-less Them-selves. I mean, come on already! They not only had access to all those advanced technologies, "advanced math" even, that supposedly gave Them plenty of in-sights into what should have been obvious under any conditions...that We, even now "going without" have the sense to know that subtracting anything from Zero is going to be heading in the wrong direction. Not only that, but They had ready access to this same blog You are reading along with Me, that included plenty of guidance, "WARNINGS!" about errone-US thinking, that led to making bad choices...postings that included the vast difference between a mistake and bad decision, closely followed in kind with one that provoked thought about what might constitute a "forced" versus "unforced" error -- the former being made more often when one is under time constraints -- whereas They had "all the time in the world" -- given all that "filibustering" We now hear rumors about...leaving Us, "Those of tomorrow"...

Searching high and low...from the floor to the (debt) ceiling...for clues as to what the $$$$ Their intent was, that started with "We're looking out for, thinking of You, all the next Gens", which added up to Them holding on to all they could "for dear life" while leaving left Us, fending not only for Our-selves, but fending off the rising sea of debt They left that now has Us not only "head for the hills!" but the highest, strongest tree you can find, for Our new, more-than-likely temporary abode -- talk about an Airbnb -- They may have conceived of it, but We are now, "living the dream...I mean nightmare...". 

After all is said and done: Aka...meaning...

"The net result", meaning of: Which, when I entered it into my search engine, to have a "look, see" of what all this may eventuate in, on behalf of all of Their tomorrows, I received back "The user query is incomplete and it is unclear about what the user is asking for (i.e., "intent", get it?) However, given the limited information at hand, the all-go rhythm at least gave me a clue..."it could mean (for Them, that is) a situation that exists as an end result of a series of events...the final result after all assets and liabilities have been (im)balanced..." Which I take to mean, in the context of Their tomorrows, as They open the COLLOSAL (aka Monumental) promissory note (pronounced "Promise, Sorry") We would find Them not only wincing, but find Our words unconvincing, empty, bereft of any real meaning-fullness, the ones that still resonate, in My own mind, the ones that issued from The House..."Remember to get in at the ground floor, to sign this bill, after which We can figure out...to make sure to raise the debt ceiling before all of U.S. de-faults..." 

"What will They think of next?!" The question from that Gen in the future, now referred to as the "Ones we are investing in..." which will inevitably, (im)balance be dubbed, "Generation Worth-less" -- the Ones that will have to find or invent a whole new search engine, to assist Them to locate clues...signs of what used to be called "intelligent life" around this place, Our House...

"Not so fast!" (There's still) time for all of US to think twice...about what's truly "naughty, nice..."
