Post Memorial Memorandum: "Note to Self" - After acknowledging, honoring all those who proceeded US, as prime examples of why we today often refer to them as the "greatest generation"  -- the ones that fought bravely and freed the world of tyranny, millions of whom joined those who, prior and since, died for the cause, of what so many growing up today -- you know, the more recent generations, that take their freedoms for granted ("Freedom's never free!"), that lead some us in the so-called...

"Aging Population": One in which a growing percentage is made up of "older people" -- usually equal to, or greater than, the age of 65. This happens when there is a decline in fertility rates combined with an increase in life expectancy. A combination of factors, that is. The world at large is experiencing an aging population, with the aggregate number of so-called "older people" expected. to reach 2.1 billion by 2050. Many of whom will find themselves, like generations throughout history (all the way back to the BC days) making comment, on behalf of those now acting a bit defiantly..."They are clue-less, they have no idea of how easy they have it, they are going to take us all to hell in a handbasket (when was the last time you heard of such a reference for)...be the cause of our demise" Who, in collective response...

"Welcome to the New Age":  As in "Welcome to my world, boomer" A world where AI is taking over, all the jobs, that once could be counted on after we hung out on campus, on your dime...now you expect us to find whatever menial (as in "unmeaningful, why you told us to go for extra schooling")...in order to kick in more than our fair share into a system that's already broken, conceived by the so-called greatest generation, then used up by all of you...you've taken us for a hell of a ride...now finding ourselves fending not only for ourselves, but having to support all of you in your so-called golden years...as we find ourselves on the pointed end of this upside down pyramid...as if that wasn't enough...now, here comes yet another set of your set of Oxy-morons...so-called "Social Security" set...

House Broken (?): A formula guaranteed to beat the House...a so-called algo-rhythm, dreamed up (more like schemed up)...some highly advanced analytics that only an actuarial type is capable of decrypting and can become lethal to us when put in the hands of a member of the "House" -- as in a Congressional type...which we, the boomers and late-comers, can all agree, is no Cause (for) Celebre, but instead....

"House Arrest" Or, in the very least, "give it a rest...take a long and un-deserved recess, an extended time out even...is there any (spending, debt) limit they won't go to, on our so-called behalf?!" Talk about a broken home, one missing a debt ceiling...Gee Whillikers Batman!
