Pre, Post Playground Post: "Operation PP"

Pre-conditions: Those of a meteorological, ecological, political, psychological, and even meta-physical nature, in these daze of days, that for US, had to be just right before..."going, dashing, rushing, running out to play...out there...slow down mister...no running in the hallway...did you finish your homework, let alone your chores that have been left undone after several reminders...until I finally yelled and screamed..." Yes, before WE, the ones that have been held at bay, weigh too many times, left us standing, staring, longing to go out...the door -- the only thing standing between US and the playground. And when the door finally swings open, when conditions have finally, as in "You can thank your lucky stars this time, son..." WE can't be faulted for being tempted to launch our-Selves...Which, of course, historically, even under the best of circumstances, along with good intentions, can lead to a few...or more...missed steps, or even tripping our-selves in the process as in a mis-step, on the way out, before the play even begins...

Pre-conceived: As in a few critical steps for US to consider, as in what we learned in the classroom all the famous leaders, chieftains, generals did in all those smoke-filled rooms (that we simply call "John") -- plenty of advance planning, prior to going back out to reclaim what is right-fully OURS! At least that's we perceived to be Mr. Harris' intent when he conceived of this time and place where WE could let it all out...put it all behind us..."public land set aside for...restricted only for these students..." Perhaps we were guilty of reading a bit into it, interpreting or even, as it's become popular, "revised" Recess! history. But so much for "restricted use" and otherwise what came into out vocabulary as "Sacrosanct" in the form of  "Social Security" -- so secure, insulated from Their greedy hands, that what They left US is hardly a big enough can to kick, let alone...OK, let's not get ahead of reclamation and into "retribution" territory just yet; we've got some real work to do first; it's a matter of setting our priorities, They taught us, right? Let's get back to following the (carbon) foot-steps of those whose lives were spent studying and prepping for such a situation -- the elite of the elite warriors, that We have long emulated "out on the playground" where, until recently, We could pretend to be anything We wished for...until all those conditions were heaped on Us. We're talking "special forces" here, which we started learning about in all our gaming at home which, while coming under many different headings and (protected) titles...what they all seemed to have in common (besides the hefty price tag we didn't bother with) was that prior to actually yelling "Hooyah!" as the mission was finally launched (all this we pondered during the times we were held at bay, at the door, having plenty of time...on our hands) was lots and lots of prior planning which, when combined with a few other P & P, could easily be re-called as what We now even practice prior to going online and game with our buds (some of which we have never even seen, from overseas, even) and what We have re-envisioned, so as to not step on the toes of all those "Special Ops dudes!" we still try to emulate under all the new Rules, Regs..."Plentiful Playground Planning Prevents Pee, Poo Performance..." Easy enough to recall, given that we had been hearing it even prior to entering the school doors for the very first time in what's now know as pre-schooling..."Before you go out to play, make sure you at least tried to go..." It's like We were born for this...
