Confetti, at the ready...

Showering: What the players, especially those donning the maize (mostly blue) and winged helmet-less, stalled for..."plenty of time for that later...just want to soak all this in..."

What OUR quirky coach (notice how even those among us that had sort of gotten weary of his antics once again claim ownership...kind of goes with sports fans...) referred to as if they were snowflakes (we're from the Midwest after all) -- "each one of those separate pieces of maize and blue tells a story..." How can an individual skilled in the art of extemporaneous speech be considered a "Flake!" himself?

Laugh-ishing: What the same coach shared with his players, starting with the final countdown, in the so-called waning minutes of a hard-fought victory which was the satisfying end of a longer campaign (during which he, himself had to take two extended time-outs)...and the heaping on of affection for each and every one of them...and then onto the co-coaches and extended M&B family...the fans! Only to be upstaged (as in joined on, the family being so spontaneous..."'like father...like son..." in reversal) who brought the whole house down with the new Michigan meme "Who's got it better than us...?!" Can you hear the gratitude mixed with just a hint of humility, sports fans?

Plenti-full: What the players made sure of, in the form of the Gatorade punch bowl, in advancing their cause, to finally shower their coach, who had eluded many in the past...who, in stealing a glance, catching a sign  (get the drift?) did what's going to be known far and wide as the "Gatorade fade..." Being a former QB he replied "I'll pass, thanks..." But not for long -- perhaps his critics were right as, in the end, he came out "all wet..." And smiling...like a Cheshire cat...more like a hungry Wolverine, finally ful-filled.

 GO BLUE!
