Fan-tasia: Only in your wild (card) dreams!

Animated, We R: A place and time, sometimes accompanied by movement, as in "somnambulistic😔" -- sleep walking for those of you not lucky enough to have been endowed with such a trait, predisposition, to working overtime...and those unlucky to have such a "sleep partner", which guarantees you will be hardly getting a wink yourself, sleeping with one eye open...a place where you, the "true blue" sports fan-atic! never stop thinking, working on your proposed game plans, (and the ones you think the coach should have used, had they only asked you...). A thing that we can all share some common ground...

Endowed, R We: With the 1) Qualities or at least a semblance of such, even when you are looking, appearing as if you are not..."Look alive!" invokes the coach, teacher, boss..."Time to get moving...get a move on!" 2) Full of movement and activity, even if vicariously, as in "armchair quarter-backing!" (usually, most often on Monday mornings...thus, the late arrivals...3) Full of vigor and spirit -- even before the event formally begins...tailgaters We R...

Un-limited, In-Genuity: It only takes a little imagination -- "vision" is what those involved in "off season" realignments like to refer to it, as what We, the athletic supporters, will be watching, the next season, which they hope, plan on, strategize, "manipulate" (not Us, of course, but the ratings from last season)...in determining the most add-vantageous numbers, places, times, and titles of divisions (as if We are not already divided enough). Eventuating, after all their deliberations, "late night negotiations" 😆😉...bring US fans, at least at this point in time...don't get too comfortable, as change here is in-evitable...American, Nationalized...east west, north, south, Atlantic, Central, Pacific (what, no "Mountain Time"?)...and don't even get me started on Futbol, with all the FIFA, within and between countries..."African Cup of Nations!" 

Ex-tended In-vitation: Part of the vision from the fore-going "visionaries that started, of course, with extending the opportunity for those, even without "season tickets" to get in early, as in pre-season games...only a hop, skip, and jump (how much more animated can you get?) for a visionary to see that adding a game here, and there, will only serve to get more of Us in-volved. Voila! Out comes the now-titled "Wild Card Games!" An opportunity not only for the team "on the bubble" one last chance, but also Us fans who, based on the ratings and the addition of "proud sponsors" will also, based on the ads before and after this weekend's wild card play-off games! bring Us, the "Die Hards" -- the ones that just got over watching Bruce Willis pull off yet another wild stunt, that have for some reason, become associated with the Christmas season 😕😔💰 -- yet another, whole new league of players and owners, who have in-vested, after yet another round of hard-fought negotiations (off the field, off camera) -- a place and time where all of US fans can finally be united, after those representing the USFL, XFL agreed to merge into what's (temporarily, depending on the ratings...sounding like a cynic am I?) -- The United Football League! Which curiously, based on lots of algorithms, and "cookies" we fans absorbed, gorged on, will "kick off" about six weeks after the Super Bowl, near the end of March Madness, at the beginning of Spring Training -- the one that comes under the heading "Grape-fruit League"... 

Dream State, Ponder-Us: As in Hail-ing! from a state where, at least on the professional level, for at least the last few decades, a so-called wild card game was a thing we could only ponder, let alone a "NFC North Division" title (which is now a thing that is represented by a title banner, which was hoisted by the host team, last weekend, as part of a pre-game...featuring a few "commercial breaks" for Us fans to enjoy). But prior to such a ceremony, we, around here, had to get over our fear of heights, never having reached this level of play in our lifetimes. A fear that can either be worked out in our dreams or more formal intervention...

Animation Nation! Next up: (as promised, hinted at, prior to the last break-out session) - the Sell-Out!
