"It's what's showing" - no matter what time of the year, it's...

Cine-matic! As in motion pictures or, in this meta-phorical world of mine, how things keep changing, moving along...out with the old...out-going, in-coming...a world that, like NYC, never sleeps...

Changeling: While change itself is inevitable, it continues to be a matter of strong debate (great, yet another thing for U.S. to be, at least allegedly, polarized about!) if it translates into "progress". The cinematic version in 1980 combines the "super-natural" with "horror" to bring us, along with hordes of other films, a genre that concerns itself with such matters...

Mining Minds: It was just a matter of "when"  and not "if" those who studied our minds, how they work, and what we strive for in terms of being more so..."Intelligent" -- they, who are even now well represented by the APA (as in several subdivisions who combine, share, commiserate on their findings), after a long history of studying our minds, would eventually, finally, after just scratching the surface, through such methods of psychoanalysis (who make it a career out of taking notes from what could other-wise be mistaken for couch potatoes) -- have reached new heights of understanding or, if you are on the polar opposite side...a new low: AI! It is, of course, along with a few other hot topics, what all the buzz around not only the water coolers, but the whole House, even up to Supreme type of judges. Well, I'm here to tell you some form of AI is here to stay, while it remains to be seen to what degree it's a help or hindrance. I can tell you my-self with a great deal of certainty that if AI ushers in a new line...of reasoning, that counters that which is prevailing, what's masquerading as "quality Intel" these daze, then I, myself am All In...

Incoming: What's also showing mostly above our heads but below our awareness, another hot topic coming into the new year, involves just how much air space should be allocated, what altitude, and how many per square...which combine to be a predictable specialty for legalistic mind-sets, to argue about, arrive at...what a reasonable retainer might be (cha-ching!). What's also predicable is that a drone will finally be equipped with a phone, coupled with a "finder fee" -- meet your new AI Helicopter Mom, coming to a playground near you: "This is your mother calling...don't stray, stay too long...supper is almost ready..."

Change is In-evitable. Whereas other things remain the same, no matter what...as in the "Mom card"!
