Playground, of politics; political playgrounds - Plenty-full (speaking of playgrounds!) Here, out there... everywhere, these daze, even after just a few of one party political primaries... Plenty O' Pee: Pacts, PAC's, pay-offs, prior planning preventing poor performance...(one would hope, that they would have learned from history, given that so many of them are so-called "schooled in law")...perilous pit-falls...porta potty...para-phrased...getting... Pissy: Not what you're thinking, prepped to, as in Pavlovian, prior conditioning, posting here..."inferior...contemptible...arrogantly argumentative"...potty mouth...  Presidential, debates!  As to what minimal (maximum is more like it these daze) eligibility requirements, deem them qualified to serve U.S. -- in the least...as in "provisionally" for the time being, whatever time it takes to find... Trait-offs of Tolerance: An open and shut case... What's being (un)called for: A curious, if not confusing state of affairs, these daze, regarding the state and this trait that social and other engineer types, refer to as "tolerance" -- more or less, depending on the setting and set of circumstances...On the one hand it's the thing the world can't get enough of...Whereas once you walk through the doors, of the classroom, and back out again, into the school yard, of the public schools, at least, the ones that are governed by a "body"...they're not having it...at all...nada, zip, zilch..." ZERO  Tolerance!" A bit of a double standard you say? Having trouble tolerating the ambiguity of it all...? It's easy, once you assume some perspective, as to whether one wants IN, or OUT... Lost and Dumb-founded? Playground parcels Clearly contained: "Frequently found  (get it yet, the missing part of recess! that's been part of the pre- and after- school discussion since...) at museums, amusement parks (synonymous with "playgrounds") and schools...a lost and found box clearly marked...near the main entrance (which also serves as the exit out to the field of play, in our case)...containing articles, things...that might be retrieved, that others that may have turned in..."   An ode code: "It is written..." SUPER DUPER Star Power: X's and "OH's"! "OH, I finally got it" As in...it took me a while, as in a few daze of thinking, even mulling it...over and over again. Then, in a moment of clarity, the whole array of the visual blitz (note the football ref, no coincidence) -- the result of years of planning behind the scenes, re-arranging the calendar of events, to... Signs of the Times: Plenti-full Playground Placards  B4 and after: The adds, otherwise at SUPER bull time, known as Commercials, especially the ones that have been fine tuned for this momentous occasion, some of which are designed to get us in the mood..."worked up!" and others, if we stuck around...watch late night TV (it's what it used to be called) -- feature products whose effect is to help us ease into slumber...especially if we, one more time watched, heard, "Breaking News!" Ads and commercials about stuff we didn't know we needed and services that "you'll eventually find yourself..." Plus, of course the ones that were Taylor made, that add-ed up to the biggest SUPER Bull waitings (longest commercial breaks), the ones we were willing to endure to see if T&T would once again lock lips.  So, it was only inevitable, that the Student Council at our school was faced with what type, where, when they would allow their hallowed hall walls and...

SUPER Bull! Myths and Legends  Zodiac Attack! Whereas around these parts we have been celebrating, and re-calibrating (as in adjusting our NY resolutions just a bit in anticipation of a day of mass consumption), we may have to also re-adjust our expectations-- no, not just about what we around here had planned on...BIG time! a few weeks back (until the second half😢😡!). But also, all the goods made overseas (most of which, of course, bearing the "Made in China" stamp) which may come a few hours if not a day late, given their celebration of the "Chinese New Year" which is based on the  lunar calendar, adjusted for when the new moon comes...anywhere between January 21 and February 20, with the present day being the second day into the New Year! It's rock-it science! Laws of Physics playing out... On the Play-ground: Where else but? It's where you'll find all the most basic properties, states that matter, and all things meta-physical...a soar subject I may have forgotten about, left behind, given all the excitement of gaining back this hallowed ground -- do you notice all the physical references all-ready? Just beginning to warm up... Thermo-dynamics!  Where the teacher, more accurately titled the play-ground "Super"! is staying warm (or cool as the case may be) by taking hydration (or whatever) from a thermos, while we're staying warm by being bodies in motion...and then after only the briefest of cool down periods...talk about being in motion... Hurry up and wait! As in push, shove, to get to the head of the line, and then come to an abrupt "Halt!" As the one standing at the top waiting for the force of nature to take them down the slide -- "What RU waiting for...gravity ?!"  Tal...

Putting the moves on, off season: "Another sell-out!"    "Take a hike!" A message that might be issued by the coach or another "don't kill the messenger" rep from the "front office" which otherwise is known to us in the non-sports world as getting pink slipped, laid off, or, in the case of a major leaguer, "traded" -- the terms of which differ somewhat from sport to sport, in, off season...lots of "dead" lines to meet. Which, when told to "hike to the farm" means staying with the same Org. but making some "Minor" adjustments (corrective actions😢)...And, in the case of many of our loyal fans in our hometown, who gave their "bottom dollar" to go west just to see our season come to a close, may see them finally arriving locally after hitch-hiking all the way back (it will be interesting to ask how many transfers they, themselves made on the way west, east-wards) --Talk about a "red eye...

SUPER Bowl BIV, after Affect(s): BIG feelings! Mixed e-motions: Feeling a bit be-wildered, as in out of time and/or place? You've got company, as in being in legion with millions, around the globe. Just a week into the second month of a "brand spanking new!" year, and just a week before yet another day of mass consumption -- chicken wings, nachos, "Pizza-Pizza!"...commercials...and perhaps even some viewing of "American Football" (UGH!). Step back, in time: Back to the time of the year when the "Big Game" was scheduled -- early to mid-January, from 1967-78, later Jan. until 2003, and then finally, the last few years, into the shortest month, of the year (it's only fair, right?). Providing us mental health practitioners, the ones that happily assist you in goal setting, a convenient correspondence in time (AKA "correlation"), about six weeks after millions have vowed to lift some to shed a few...pounds.
