Crossing paths: (Un)Common play-grounds, over-lapping concerns

Job Description: Repair damage and restore fields (after all those turf 'destroyers' went at it...)

                             Regulate pests (they can be so 'pesty', those kids!)  

                             Soil testing (as in make sure they really have to go...)

                             Overlapping responsibilities with those whose designated responsibilities include:

(UN)Official Job Description: (don't!) feed the animals...they'll just keep asking for more...

                                                   Administer Rx...(to keep them under control)...

                                                   (make them) clean and maintain their enclosures...rooms...

                                                   report any unusual changes in behavior 😕 to "proper personnel" 😖

Play-grounds: Where so-called "Turf Managers" and "Zoo Keepers" meet, share stories, compare notes, and combine talents, to compete with those of the...

(UN)paid Volunteers: who are expected, despite, no paid leave, other bennies...to each and every day...

                                     Maintain order, enforce rules & regs, assist in conflict resolution, support the other Safety Patrollers, provide/apply first aid (keeping your CPR certification current), and contribute to program/weather forecasting, performance improvement plans...all these wrapped up into one...

"Isn't it Grand?" As in a condition, set of expectations that now finds so many grand-parents 'strolling' the playgrounds, given the rate of parent burnout these daze...
