Base ball, players: Duo lingo
Full Coverage: What you've come to expect from prior visits, regardless of the subject matter...ranging from the less well-comings in life (ergo original title of "Viral Vicissitudes"), on to those more obligatory in nature -- most recently including "debts and taxes", the latter of which are now "past due"...which is when you really need Turbo Tax! as well as what's called the 1040 ES, which allows a small degree of error and the kind of charity from Uncle Sam I wrote to you about a few days ago, on behalf of all us "selfies" who still have to pay taxes of income that is "not otherwise subject to withholding" 😕😠!! And finally, once again returning us to activities, that are considered more discretionary, how me might choose to past the time (ergo "pastime"). Including what's called the game of baseball which, if it finds itself in the genre of games we have experienced in the developmental cycles of our children and now grandies, have progressed from -- out of the mouths of babes: "don't worry papa, it's just a game, we can start over" to one, especially when they discovered their value on social media (i.e., their Name, Image, Likeness)...serious biz, big bucks!
Inside, Out: No, not yet another reference to the 2015 Pixar film that almost suffered from over-exposure here, given how well I felt as a practiced professional, they the writers and creative content folks, portrayed some of the core feelings we can all relate to which (SPOILER ALERT!) I hear they'll be adding one or two (?) sometime this summer, as the youngster finds her-self on the verge, of PU-berty😅😢! With color-full characters depicting each feeling. Speaking of characters, as in how games help to shape our personalities, as well as some references to some colorful characters that have portrayed the game of base-ball -- hyphenation called for, given that the game is essentially made up of these two essentials, along with "bat and glove" (starting to get the whole "Duo" thing?). This, in addition to the infield/outfield areas as well as the "left/right/centrist" reference we have gotten used to around here (talk about characters!). Not so much a reference to the actual "Duolingo" language platform that, in addition to a "quick and easy" way to acquire a second language, but also math (bat stats!) and music (each player in our ballpark has their own musical intro each time they get into what's called a box, for the batter...the "batter's box") Which, given the international presence in our national pastime would now call for more of a "Polyglot on the (sand) lot" sort of rap app. So, I'll cover not only what's on the outside (cover) of the baseball, but also make sure I get down to reviewing what's at your core ("guts!"). So, if you're interested in "what makes you YOU" -- in either the more literal or figurative sense, it's what's both inside the lines as they say in baseball when the ball is determined to be "fair" as well as the ones that are "long...gone!" --both of which are now residing in the "on deck" circle...the shape that precedes stepping into the box.
