All tied up..."a whole new game..." Maybe, maybe knot.

Suspense-full: "It's the bottom of the...and it's now anyone's game...it's like nip and tuck...as if they are neck to neck, or even, when it comes down to the wire (not visible), it's as if they are nose to nose, leaving us wondering, in suspense, "who knows?" which send it either to the on-the-field video booth, which are pretty standard 'fair' (get the double meaning here, aficionados?) or, in the case of a more impact-full outcome --one which could send one team to the play-offs and a champagne celebration, while the other is told, perhaps just by pointing, in the direction of the showers. On even more special occasions, where the so-called local officials, can't agree, it could be sent...all the way up to the Supreme Court. And you thought I was talking sports, base-ball in particular. Well, you're part wrong, part right, kind of like a divided out-come...which can happen in any competition. Thought you'd be tipped off, by the "bottom" reference, given that the two leading candidates in both main-stream parties, are performing about equally dismal (aka "bottoming out"), in the polls, at least but, like they say, in athletics, "it's not over until...let's wait and see how this plays out" Right now the handy-cappers have already determined this is a real "odds makers" night mare, given the oddities in the extreme. It's like dividing the House into the teams that represent the "Stars and Stripes" -- "In this corner we have the reigning champion, who has to, from time-to-time (almost every public appearance now) be reigned in, given the tendency to "go off the rails" (not a preferred position if UR a train, and could be rough on a horse as well), as if he's got his head...in the "Stars" -- "And over here, in this Court, I mean corner, we find the prior incumbent who is already out, contending with the legal system, who could, be the first almost unseated (as in impeached) and upon re-entry, if he takes one more miss-step, become the first sitting, standing President wearing pin "Stripes". What we, spectators, can all agree on is that whichever contender you re-envision as Nip or Tuck, They, this whole thing, is getting really old...

Warm-up: What all players, seasoned competitors, especially pitchers, learn is essential and what I essentially just did, on your behalf, prior to covering the "Wide World of...Ties, and In-decisions"
