All Toed, going bananas: YOU-niversal a-peel... 

Sounds, looks alike:  Situations, circumstances we can ALL relate to, even sympathize with...as in "glad it wasn't' me...there but for the grace of..." Yeah, full of grace, as in grace-full. Speaking of...

Stumbling, bumbling: Before which, things seem to be going 'swimmingly' (spoiler alert!), even "according to plans..." after all the prep, rehearsal..."sweat equity" you put into this venture. Then, after walking out, onto what's known as the "world's stage"...during "prime time"...

Coming un-done: As it "it all unraveled!" as if I (or perhaps the shoes that I was repping) came unglued, as it certainly appeared to the rest of the viewing audience that I tripped, over my own words ("Ummmm, where am, was I?"), feats...("It was UGE!")...No matter the venue...

Up and down! Or, "And...off they go (as in off script, against their so-called handlers' add-vice)...oh no!" Or, in the case of one Olympic hopeful, getting tripped up on the final lap...Or, in the rare case, even after slipping while coming out of the "blocks"! (not resembling the ones we grew up with), due to untied laces, just to out-pace her competitors...in all four "One Hundred"😕 heats! Talk about a YOUGE come-back! By the...

Looks on their faces: Which range from, in the case of the fans in the stands, dis-belief, amuse (come on, be truthful, your looks on camera gave you away...they're everywhere these daze🤣😟😠), I mean a-maze-meant...to utter indifference ("what a bunch of also I-rans...where voter apathy predominates this very day...see, didn't I already tell you this is a global competition?"). And in the case of the competitors them-Selves...looking, once again...

Up and down: Up, at the video replay, as to the true cause...and down, as in hanging head, or otherwise looking for the Pro-verbial, banana peel..."gotta blame my down-fall on something, other than my-Selfie..." 

Out-takes, take-outs: Overheard in my office, as in cheers and jeers..."You know what it's like to run a car dealership...stay up late planning, all week-end, and then watch it...go to hell! within the first few hours early in the week..." So much for add-vance planning...
