Been there, done that: As in, despite a long history of performing at the 'top of your game' and all that you have accomplished, and feeling you still aren't quite done...you're just not feeling you have enough left...in the tank, so to speak...as in..."all...pooped...out..." More succinctly, simply stated...

"Too Pooped to Participate!" I mean it. Just not up to snuff. Feeling a bit flushed even...do I look it?   Speaking of flushed…

"You're going down!" That's the Creed, that a reigning champ frequently follows, to intimidate a so-called "contender" -- sometimes even before the debate or another contested event, even begins...we're talking trash, speaking of "Drano!" here...

"Paper or Plastic...poop and pee..." They're all in there together and you're telling me it's "Ok to go swimming, just don't consume too much...?! Still a bit "rich" for my taste, why don't you go first...I can wait...it's absolute In-Sein-ity!"

"Just put it behind you..." Along with such prosaic platitudes, under the circumstances...just let it go...let it come naturally, like it has a gazillion times in the past...don't overthink this...CHILL! More recently, as in 'current' events...

"Hit the re-sit..." I mean "reset" button...don't turn around, just concentrate, Brody, on what's in front of you...dude... So said Caesar, to one based on all his experience with his proven, already resilient gymnast, who went out, and in deed 'Hit it!" Butt, sometime the intentions are good, and the...words...just don't come out right...In other words...

Easier said, then, finally..."are you done?!" As in done giving crappy add-vice. As my very first encounter with my very first pro-fessor in my very first day of "Grad school !" 😊😕 told us..."You'll play a lot of rolls [sic!]...in your daily and professional lives..." Getting us to think about those on the receiving end of all this..."Remember anyone can give advice..." Followed by (real life as in "practice") lessons in humility, when even when advice is delivered from a well-intended expert (coach, campaign manager...psychologist) by still be...ill-timed...(we learned a lot, via more courses and even more through life lessons about "therapeutic timing")...ending us up...after being on a roll...

"Sheety add-vice, from where I sit...If you ask me...if you don't have time to listen...could you just lend a hand, help me get back up..." We've all been in, or soon will be, in similar positions...

"Just turn the...page" Sound add-vice to my-self, as I now return you to Olympic, election, and other past-time coverage...
