Flip flops...all about U.S. 

It's what's (not) showing: As in the parts of the body that are hidden from camera, more so these days in "zoom" rooms, what you can get away with...at least from what's traditionally termed mid-drift...speaking of...

Worn out sayings: The ones that hearing so many times the pollsters finally get the numbers telling them we are tuning out...that finally the so-called "content creators" come up with a new name for the thing that in our daze were termed "thongs" which as in all things in the fashion industry (and due to a byte of censoring) replaced by the omni-present things that leave minimal..."a smaller footprint" -- as if I wasn't even there...at least my steps were covered by shifting alliances, I mean sands...

"Frick frack, I take it back..." This, curiously following "Let me be clear...have no fear..." This from one side of the proverbial line, in the sand...

"Fire away" An invitation, an initial soft sell, almost as if sandbagging..."You're fired!"  

Fashionable: On the one hand..."a way of dressing or behaving according to the current trend, fads, styles..." Whereas what's showing "out on 5th avenue" and across a few streets on Madison Avenue, the products of the so-called "Mad-men" (enough creative content to sustain almost eight years of what's in the industry known as "air time" and in politics known as term limits)... 

"Immaterial" As in..."It doesn't matter what I said then, this is now..." And in, what little they, the designers, put aside for these new fashions in the form of material, and what we, the so-called buyers, are willing to pay for the latest, greatest...
