Grit, Grind, Guts...Glory - Geez! Forces

E-ssential In-Gredients: Many of which start with the same letter which, if strung together, could, while initially sounding more like an alliteration, end up spelling "V-I-C-T-O-R-Y...Victory, Victory, that's our cry!" Which readily, still comes to mind, as one the first cheers we heard, from both the side-lines, as well as standing out on the field of play, waiting for the next...

Gate-keepers: Which also starts with...without with the game couldn't even begin...a G-factor which is becoming a focus of more attention these days...making things like games, more "access denied"...in the form or parents..."turn it off, go to bed...put your phone on the charger..." On into the school setting, where we met not only the classroom teacher "no time for fun and games anymore..."  But even out, on what, where we met our very first Oxy-MORON: "Before you can start to play, you have to recite the Rules and regs of this place called the Play-Ground" SUPER-visors, who needs 'em?! And even after we left this field of play...just when we thought we were safe, to play...here comes the spoiler alert...as in "alert...it's another spoiler...the bar bouncer!" 

Gaining, the Ad-vantage: Another e-ssential in-gredient of a successful outcome, in any contest, which starts and finishes with the same letter ("Getting it?")...one can't finish on top unless you have gotten and held onto the lead...

Gravitational, Pull: What keeps you going, in the game or race, may not actually be what pulled you in, in the first place...a so-called "sustainable drive" -- after being initially attracted by this magnetic, or AKA charismatic😁 personality...player, coach, campaign...manager. Which leaves you and me, gritting, if not grinding our teeth down at night, and diurnally, as in our daily grind, find us...

Grumbling: "Who signed me up for this?!"😡 

Great green gobs...Greasy grimy gopher guts, and all! No guts, no gory...

Gee Willikers Batman!  Must be getting close to Halloween...election day. - knock knock…"boo...who?"
