Weathering, Complaints 2.0

(see 10/17 for full affect, primer in pessimism)

Waxing and Waning..."Somewhere, it's raining..." In this wide world. Is their refrain. They, the perennial pessimists, who find a way, through a dark, at least cloudy lens, while the rest of us are trying to enjoy the sunny skies. "Just wait...you'll see..." as persistent, persnickety, poignant, is their nature. While one of the most beautiful months (at least here, in the Mid-westerly states, luck us!), of October, in recent, even distant memory, winds down, wanes (just as the World Series is getting wound up, weather permitting) ...

Fall back position: And we all prep to put it (the clock, regardless of our own internal circadian) and whatever voice accompanies it, enjoy an extra hour, in slumber land..."Just wait, in another six months, they'll expect me to...all designed to throw me, alone, off...Well, I for one, I'm not falling for it...!"

Left Me hanging: Another common complaint from thse professional poor-ish prognosticators..."You gave me something to so-called reflect on and all it made me do was to...stew...!" Leave it to them to take exception, as most of us are enjoying an exceptional extravaganza of nature's natural leaf arrangement that due, to whatever natural combinations of sunshine, calm conditions, have prolonged the incredible display, that even brings some outside, to come to our state...the seekers...heading north, while the "I refuse to peek, while they are peaking, just leaf me alone...!"

Going South: While for most an idiomatic expression, "conveying a tone of disappointment or frustration..." in the vernacular of the "spectacular!" and those who, according to one psych. professor, just love to catastrophize..."heading south, where I hear there's hurricanes, other horrific hazards...I'll report back..."

Renewed Cause for Concern: Truth be told...the paid meteorologists, other bad news forecasters, chronic complainers, never seem to be at a loss...

"Nature or Nurture?" Something new, to stew about...
