House on the Hill and late returnees
"Nice house..." No body home or even around, but "sure is peaceful around here..." At least this time around, so they, the ones prepping to exit...promise so. So goes political promises...kicked to the curb.
"What's in your cupboard...?" AKA your kitchen cabinets. A question we got from one of our own, while they needed what used to be called a "step stool" and didn't really bother with...until they had a health class, which found me, the next day..."who rearranged all this...?" Sounding familiar yet, close to home?
"Mean Wiles" A "formidable force", consider the source, of course. She, the first female Chief of Staff, being no "Lazy Susan" -- an irony in and of itself as it's more of a turntable than still life. Who could, if not careful, find herself on the cabinet carousel that was hard to keep track of last time around here, without a program of "Players" that in the context of the Theatre of the Absurd, refers to actors or performers...
"Outta' here!" Easily apply to the other new Cabinet members, who may find themselves "packing" otherwise heading to the exits prematurely. An experience we experienced in our own home...ballpark, for several seasons. Whereas in this most recent season, one of almost record-setting come-backs, if you got up even for minute, vacated your seat, to tend to your own needs, might find you either SOL or at least, in "cheap seat" lingo, in the SRO section...standing, with your "backs up against the wall"...
"He hit a Homer!" As in "Going, going...gone, out of the park!" Don't get up, or give up your seat in this house, you could miss out on all the action...
Cabinet Member, as of November...At last count.
