An In-convenient update: Just as I was finishing the to-be-consumed (I can only hope) post about the periodic stuffing of stockings, and just as we, most of the world, are about to stuff our faces, with yet another bird of prey...

BBC, in modern day: I'm rudely reminded that there continue to be a whole host of folks not so fortunate, whose daily allowance of H20 is what in prescription lingo "b.id." as in twice daily, as in how they, in these dry lands, and those who have been otherwise displaced, spend much, if not most of each day, hauling jugs of water, to and from the source...

Ponder-US: While we, who are fortunate enough to ponder the offer of a second helping, may we at least pause and reflect on for a few seconds, as to how we might lend a hand to those in need, who may, according to the latest surveys, closer than one may think, otherwise ponder, prior to clearing the table...
