Un-attended, and its consequences

Peril-US Parent-less Punctuation: As in the effects, let alone the affect, that might attend, when parents in particular...

Don't, DO NOT...Pass Go, or other opportunities...invites to attend, participate, or even volunteer...

No Exclusions:  Nor excuses, including when told by your school-age...college bound..."I'm good..." 

It's Hysterical: I meant to say, it's history, "in the making..." As in plenty of previous encounters with what's pertinent to the practice of parenting, throughout the almost five decades as a practicing practitioner, myself... 

Abdication Nation: And a-parently throughout the entire Westen hemi-sphere...the trend downwards...what's become trendy...

Pew! Sounds about right to me, that according to this "nonpartisan fact tank😔" as to the increasing trend of people, adults of child bearing age, whether or not part of a couple, partner-ship, are deciding to forego having children...until the climate, environment, clears up...

Micro-chasmic: As in South Korea, a hot-bed (no pun intended) of studies, on the impact of women who are considered, for the purpose of parenting, having lots of 'potential' (childbearing years), are barely doing so, these days...a paltry .72 in 2023, down from .78 the prior year, a steady decline, which if uninterrupted...

Plummeting Parent-less trap: The trend throughout many "developed" nations, to forego having "kids"...no kidding. The consequences of which may, eventually, be far reaching, as in...may bring us a whole new genre of movies, the other side of the one that was initially brought out in 1961, a "romantic comedy" whose plot included attempts of each other to gain custody...of identical twins who, after being raised separately for a while, re-unite at guess where...a summer camp they are both sent away to, by their respective "custodial parent"...who then conspire, but in a funny manner, a comical co-opt...

Surging Surrogates: Not-so-punny are the out-comes of what happens when parents either defer deliberately or, what's frequently termed "in-adverdantly" as in "law of unintended consequences" of what happens when you don't actively attend your kids' activities that you, yourself may have bought and paid for, after signing them up...any extra-curricular activity associated with their school...college...or gradually relinquish what were once considered the mainstay of parent roles...to those in other place-settings...

Replace-meants: What become, come, out of necessity, in the form of "Subs!" who, if lacking a lesson plan...show lots of movies. Which, I don't know about you, but was a real parent pet peeve of ours, at least while our children were of school age...  

Senior-itis: What will happen if the trend continues, and the so-called Social Security pyramid "scheme" turns upside down...
