Blood, assays, and their panel-lists

XY, XX, and Why...we order these so-called tests (that you can't study for but can cram, as in store up lots of this stuff, for later use)...to see deep into you, at least more than skin deep...

From your PCP...to BMP, CBC...CMP -- from the most "Basic" to "Comprehensive" exam...(sounds like grade, on into grad school) and, if it comes out OK, no need to send yours to the CDC...😟.

All about YOU...as in 74 bio-markers...from what's going on 'up there' above the cerebral spinal fluid, (or what's known as the "blood brain barrier", a kind of natural moat above the neck), working our way down to the action in the PTTS area -- "Partial Thromboplastin Time (sounds more like a section in a concert band but it's clot! As in the time it takes for your blood to "coagulate" versus bleed out...And all the way down to your BUNS 😒 -- where a "normal BUN" ranges from 6 to 20 milligrams...per deciliter -- as in "blood urea nitrogen" -- when was the last time you had yours measured?

And THEM...while the phlebotomists are responsible for "drawing" 😕😢blood (also referred to as "venipuncture"😟) and then taking it "who-knows-where", it ends up in the hands of very capable hands of "Lab rats" -- "techs" for short (who, for all we know, while wearing a lab coat, might also be wearing...shorts) the medical moniker, for the modern medical miracle, of those individuals who are willing to "work mundane jobs, without a lot of growth opportunities" - Thanks to THEM...and the ones in the hospital as well as in, off location, private practice, outpatient clinics...responsible in the chain of evidence, known as "couriers"...make all this happen in what elsewhere is called a "jiffy" whereas, the med interns after passing the medical terminology course, come to know it as...

Immediately! "What I meant to say was Statim -- STAT!!! for short"😀
