Which is apparently where the whole “Sooners” name originated…as in Oklahoma-home ah…

And no wonder they’re rooting for the Thunder, as they are smack dab in middle of tornado alley…

In a city where thunderous applause, brought down the house😟 after game one of the Finals, which might only be eclipsed by the out-of-towners, from the Indy City...no wonder the Thunder is having difficulty keeping Pace🚗

But how did they miss the obvious for a sports franchise…as in the “Crop Dusters”?!

Late to the game...I was, as in this team, and a few other amateurs are named accordingly, which meet their opposing force, the "Jolly Ranchers" Both of which hail (now that would...bring down, the house, eh?) from regions and places that reflect, such conditions, at least one hopes NOT...(who wants to play in the "Dust Bowl"?!)

Uni-versal Appeal...I guess someone with a sufficient amount of imagination, with the added secret sauce of motivation, that gives them the "get-up-and-go!" hasn't yet gotten around, to naming an aspiring amateur team, the Pro-Crastinators - "We'll wear them down, by making them wait, just a matter of time..."
