Hospitalists and their in-hospitable nature.

A natural evolution...a partial solution

Yet another round...of specialists who are making rounds, who don't seem to make it all the way around, to my room…

Health care in crisis...too many devices? All these ,modernized versions of the ones they used to simply wear on their necks and such...now peering into, after they finally get them hooked up, calibrating (patient is waiting)...instead of peering into my eyes, nose, ears....tears

Death of the steth-oscope...no more exultation, for auscultation (med lingo for "listening to the patient...internally")

Primary, secondary, tertiary care...now, there's room(s) for all, as long as you're willing to share....

An emerging specialty...as primary care and general practitioners are too busy, to make rounds...(not just on Wednesday anymore - paperwork galore)

Growing impatience with inpatients- getting them out and about...STAT!
