"Walk, don't run" (there goes our fun) - like a broken record...

Hot sun, swimmers on the run…slippery deck, could break your neck…

From lifeguards to guard rails...yell at them, when talking nice fails...(all answering to "Buddy") 

Mid summer, such a bummer...having to be reminded over and over again about pools and their rules...

But on the track, it's a whole other tack...another attempt at a broken record...

"Not so fast girl" It could ruin your reputation as one who not was fast only out of the blocks, but one, who on Match.com acknowledges "been around the block" more times than I can remember, mostly in a counterclockwise direction...flanked by 13 decorated runners in their own right, as in decked out in the latest NIKE finest...

Personal pace setters...other go getters...

All in fun...as I'm a girl on the run...

"Get in in gear!" is the NIKE cheer...

Six seconds short...she's such a good sport...

Managing to smile..."I'll get my sub four mile" (and keep my NIKE gear...contract)

Take it on, Faith! 

Author's (along with my own co-pilot) note - if she, Faith Kipyegon, was going for speed, wouldn't "Speedo" have been a better fit?
