Getting schoolded- Lessons in handouts 

Early on…  as in a “long time passed…” our teacher asked for a daily helper in passing out, the handouts…

Upon passing… making the grades in the lower grades (which I just realized why they called it grade school, as we actually used to get graded and now it’s some cryptic algorithmic that only the coder can crack) - “there won’t be anyone to hold your hand next year…” 

Upon arrival… “no hand holding during hall passing…otherwise you’ll be held, after school, and you can give the custodian a hand…”

Current events... "who else, had a hand in this, E-file?" 

Up, up, and away… “you be on your way now, time you found some work…no more handouts"😢

Sleight of hand… as if by magic, every time I came home to visit, I came away with a 5$ bill after shaking my grandad’s hand…nice touch, under any circumstance.😀
