United Artists
Standing tall… as in wall sized…along with some other industrialists that he met, along the way, to the DIA.
Where art and science come together… as in scene together in panoramic style…
Court ordered… or more artistically stated, bringing order to the court, what’s known as the Garden Court of the Detroit Institute of Arts -- where the artist in temporary residence, Diego Rivera, spent several months mixing paint and wet plaster, after which “voila!” out comes the whole Detroit Industry - mural-culously illustrating how nature, agriculture, industry, and humanity are interconnected. So, it only makes sense that a cultural collective (Cultural Workers United) would want to represent such cultured individuals that work there. Hoping they will want to view the murals, sculptures, armor clad knights through union-eyes...
We… in and around the “D” have a saying that “things are looking up around here..” Whether the workers in question endorse the offer, we outsiders who come to view the culture inside stand united in declaring "the eyes have it!"
Come, see for yourself... as to why we're also becoming known as the "mural city" -- given the growth in commissioned graffiti artists)
