Before there was porn, there was consensus... as in obscenus, the (Latin) root of all things most of us found offensive, filthy, back then..."YUCK!"

Then along came indecent proposals... that most turned down, while Hollywood made it a hit, where the lack of decency played out right before millions of onlookers...making it the sixth grossest film of 1993. "Gross me right out!"

From SMUT stuff, on to salacious…

Prurient interests... "this is pure garbage!" (waste of time, not worth watching...them) - but usually only after the long voyeur is over (voyeuristic being a fancy name for peeping Tom....) or reaching what in the porn industry, has yet to be experienced, as in sneak peek 🫣 capacity...

Several courses and forces... decades of decadence concurrent with a decrease in cinematic excellence...accompanied by a rise in computerized graphics which make for more ‘graphic’ material and to a broader audience, given the “broad band” technology. Which includes the ability to bring you even more personalized content, depending on which buttons you push (ironically accompanied by the complaint “they’re pushing all my buttons” - we can all fall victim in this modernized age). 

Gradient of grating gratuitousness... where we, on the one hand complain about the lack of restraint, but flock for the shock, and awe of everything to excess. Like a flock of sheep, running direct to "The Wolf of Wall Street" (a call for over-consumption)...

Setting Us on a collision course... "that was uncalled for, unwarranted....give us more of if!” as in an unsatiable appetite -- no holding back, leaving nothing, nada, zilch, to the imagination...

Wee adults... while we, adults, are preoccupied with protecting their "age of innocence" which seems to get pierced earlier, why is it we see it fit to consume lots of stuff, deemed "inappropriate" for consumption, at least lacking any nutritious value (which surveys say have gone beyond daily maximum allowance)...

In active fantasy life… when optics exceed even the illusions, our so-called "real time" lives go on idle...

Taking us back… to the art and mystique embedded in modesty - just imagine, as in...

Cover your eyes...  "Are you decent yet?" A lack of decency being one of simplest terms to describe the current state, of affairs... 

Might just leave you… wanting more, and in search of what is still known as true intimacy and a sense of togetherness. Even sustainability. Butt...

To really scorn porn... When just saying "NO!" not good enough, default to the oldest trick, in the book..."I'm not in the mood" by a simple click, of the mouse. Talk about playing dirty.
