Election and Selection days...getting more so.

Selective, that is… I mean, how do we teach them about the electoral college and the importance of electors, when fewer are electing to go...to college?

Early and often... is one of the phrases, now called memes, that seem to capture the meaning (of political campaigning, extending to electoral corruption) - - but now, based on current stats, it starts as early as kindergarten round-up. That is, trying to capture, sustain their attention. The span of which, has shortened, based on my math -- I'll spell it out for you -- from two-and-a-half minutes in 2004 to three quarters of one minute today -- that is, by close enough to 70%, to call it a super majority, of what you started with. Which brings a hole new meaning to the old "allow for shrinkage" tag. We know that with aging comes a degree of natural...atrophy, which can be partially off-set by some highly focused (oh-oh) and sustained (OH-OH) strength training. As in "flex them early and often..." Which apparently even extends to out dura...matter. But who reads, let alone pay attention, to tags anymore? 

Paying (for) attention? More of an indirect effect, of ads, how much they pay for them, but only after they assiduously study the results of what are curiously termed "focus groups" -- both young and old, that are sitting almost passively while watching, and being watched... 

Something to pay attention to… now that that the general elections are heating up, and after, as a public service, the field of vision was narrowed for us😕
