Buffalo's got their Bills
"No big deal..." As long as they get the kind of high marks they earned last night, they'll easily pay off the cost (2B💲💲-ish) of Highmark Stadium. While it hits the taxpayers right where it hurts, as long as they have our Lions to smack around, the cash paying customers won't hardly notice. In the game of baseball they have the occasional pop-up, which sends the ball about as high in the sky, or as high as the ceiling of the enclosed stadium allows...whereas football is known partly as a game of turnovers, which can be in the form of either fumbles, interceptions, or simply running out...of downs. It's a whole other thing to be run out, of town, with the tail between their legs. If the Bills keep this up, they make it to LA in February 2027, whereas our home team, at least on the defensive side, needs to claw their way back...to preseason form.
A sour grapes postgame post-it note: In our home state, we'll be enjoying apple turnovers soon.
Late season bball post: look back here to see who's back on deck - "ghost man on second"😳
