Life in “The Pitts” reaps its own rewards

And awards... if you happened to tune into the Emmy's. While there was little debate that The Pitt deserved its second consecutive award for the Best Drama Series and the leading actor, "Dr. Robbie" (short for Robinavitch, Noah Wylie outside), it's still an active debate around the circle of loyal watchers, as to how it got its name. While "shot on location" is the obvious choice, it's the drama within the drama that is still stirring debate...such as how the docs and staff are up to their armpits in bodies needing repairing, the hospital admin every few epoxides trying to pit them against each other...or every few hours (episodes that capture hour by hour) the lead gets interrupted just as he is trying to finally make a pit stop 😖. But what we all agree on is if you don't get the channel, now THAT would be the pits!

(Just so you know, I know that they're called streaming platforms now but for us boomers, it's called "turning back the channel" as in a happy return to the years of rabbit ears and a time when drama referred to "the soaps"😔)
