Yale Larry... was a real player, who virtually saved our team on many occasions (ergo "Who needs Hail Mary...?") 

Hopalong... first name Howard, surname Casady, curiously given the mantel due to "hopping all over the field like a performing cowboy..." Sure glad he hopped aboard our team bus, rather than going to the so-called America's Team, in Dallas. A bus that took us all, the way to the most recent "Championship!" season (1957). Still standing out as the only Super Bowl era franchise to never attended one, as a team....

The current odds... is that "odd man out" as in breaking up the couple known as "Sonic and Knuckles" (a dynamic duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, coined by their running back coach, Mr. Montgomery, who answers to “Scottie” as well as the head coach) will be the new curse, keeping us out, of the playoff picture. And they say that baseball is full of them...superstitions, curses, and players with nicknames. And us loyal fans, who get attached to them.

"Are you ready....?!" You can bet that FanDuel and the rest of them are. It's a brand-new era, known as the NFL Network (which also answers to "NFLN"). Coaches simply call it being "football ready" (the "three point" stance being only one of them)...
