An exclamation mark is certainly called for when these same announcers, so-called commentators, that typically includes a color-full person that fills in the empty space, pregnant pauses, when the play-by-play person takes a breath. Which, yesterday, during "THE GAME!" which was splattered across our screens from beginning to "BITTER END!" was a grin, I mean grim reminder, just in case we forgot that "These two teams hate each other..." The exact, more elaborate quote of which came out of one of the bitter rivals...."We grew up hating...taught to...it's the way it's gotta' be..." Close-up captioned, just in case you couldn't hear it, above the din...in the booth, that only contained the two who "...freely exhange on-the-air commentary..."
